A few notes...

On each page, website #1 assumes that the ELL skill level has reached a BICS level.  I am assuming that I could have a basic conversation with this student, that he or she is capable of writing full sentences, and that they are learning through my class to become a better English speaker.

Website #2 assumes that I have an ELL student who is still struggling to reach a BICS level.  It assumes that I may have to make major accomodations to how I structure my lessons, and that they may not actually understand what I am saying.  I know that you said we probably wouldn't get kids like this at the high school level, but I did...so I want to be prepared next time.
